Start with the operating boundary
Define what the agent may read, what it may change, which actions require approval, and what happens when confidence is low. Those constraints are product design, not implementation detail.
Make the run inspectable
Users should be able to understand which sources informed a result, which tools were called, what changed, and where a human intervened. Visibility converts mysterious automation into operational confidence.
Design for recovery
Every workflow needs a clear path when an integration is unavailable, data is ambiguous or an action fails. The strongest agent experiences make exceptions legible and easy to resume.
